How to Enter Unlock Codes on All Blackberry Phones:

  0 Attempts Remaining: If the phone shows '0', your phone has already been hardlocked and cannot be unlocked by code. Even if you correctly enter the code, phone will still say "Code Error, Please Wait..."

 

Pearl 8100, 8110, 8120, 8220 ( For all carriers except AT&T Cingular )

Must be done without a sim card inserted & wireless radios must be turned off.

To unlock:

  1. While on the home screen, click the "blackberry key" on keyboard, then select "options".
  2. Choose "Advanced Options".
  3. Select "Sim Card".
  4. Type MEPPD (you will not see text appear on the screen while typing.) 
  5. Type MEPP2 to display the dialog box asking for the unlock code (Press the Alt + 2 key to get the number 2) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).
  6. Input the SIM Unlock code.
  7. Press in the trackball in once.

Cingular Pearl 8100, 8110, 8120

Must be done without a sim card inserted & wireless radios must be turned off.

To unlock:

  1. While on the home screen, click the settings icon.
  2. Click the options icon.
  3. Select advanced options.
  4. Select Sim Card.
  5. Type MEPPD (you will not see text appear on screen while typing.)
  6. Type MEPP2 to display the dialog box asking for the unlock code (Press the Alt + 2 key to get the number 2) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).
  7. Input the SIM Unlock code.
  8. Press in the trackball in once.

7100, 7130, 7130c

Must be done without a sim card inserted & wireless radios must be turned off.

To unlock:

  1. On the Home screen, click the Tools icon. The Options screen appears.
  2. In the tools screen, select the Settings icon.
  3. Scroll to SIM Card and select it. You should see the phone number and the SIM ID number.
  4. Type ‘mepp2' to display the dialog box asking for the unlock code (Press the Alt + 2 key to get the number 2) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).
  5. Input the SIM Unlock code.
  6. Press in the jog dial once.

 

7105t:

Note: SIM is REQUIRED to unlock the phone. SIM card can be inactive, doesn't need to active. After phone is unlocked, remove the battery, insert SIM as desired and re-insert the battery. Phone MUST be restarted to use the new SIM card.

1) Power phone on and turn off the radio (Turn Wireless Off option)
2) Go to Tools
3) Go to Settings
4) Go to Options and select Advanced Options
5) Go to SIM Card
6) Type "MEPPD" (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
7) HOLD ALT and press mepp2
8) Enter the Unlock Code
9) Press enter (press on Trackball)
10) Reboot device. Device is now unlocked

 

8700, 8700c, 8700f, 8700g, 8707

You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps ( Can be active or inactive ).

To unlock:

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Go to options.
  3. Go to advanced options.
  4. Go to sim card.
  5. Type MEPD.
  6. Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEPE ( not case sensitive ) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).
  7. It will say "Enter Network MEP Code, then you type in the unlock code, press in the jog dial to confirm.
  8. Your phone is now unlocked.

Torch 9800, Bold 9700 Onyx, Bold 9000, Curve(8300, 8310, 8320), Javelin 8900, Gemini (8520, 9300), 8800, 8820

Must be done without a sim card inserted & wireless radios must be turned off.

To unlock:

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Go to options.
  3. Go to advanced options.
  4. Go to sim card.
  5. Type MEPD. 
  6. Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEP2 ( not case sensitive ) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).
  7. It will say "Enter Network MEP Code, then you type in the unlock code, press in the trackball to confirm.
  8. Your phone is now unlocked.

Pearl 9100 3G 

1 - Switch ON your Blackberry 9100 with your current network/service provider's SIM card.
2 - Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card and press select.
3 - While holding the SHIFT key, type mepd.(NOTE: You may not see any text appear on the screen while typing mepd)
4 - You should now see the five locking categories listed.
5 - While holding the SHIFT KEY, type mep2.(NOTE: You may not see any text appear on the screen while typing mep2).
6 - Release the shift key.
7 - You will now be prompted to enter the Network MEP code. (it will also state how many attempts left)
8 - Enter the Unlock Code.
9 - Enter Return/Enter.
10 - The Blackberry 9100 should then be unlocked.

 

 

5xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx ( Except for 7100 )

  1. Go to options.
  2. Scroll to SIM CARD then press jog dial in once to select it.
  3. Type MEPD (not case sensitive) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).
  4. Does it say Network active? if so your phone is locked.
  5. Press and hold the alt key (half moon looking key on the lower left side).
  6. As you are holding the alt key type in MEPE (not case sensitive) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).
  7. Type in the unlock code when prompted.
  8. After entering the code press the jog dial in.
  9. Your phone is now unlocked!

Canada Telus Blackberry Bold 9700 ONLY

Must be done without a sim card inserted & wireless radios must be turned off.

To unlock:

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Go to options.
  3. Go to advanced options.
  4. Go to sim card.
  5. Type MEPD. 
  6. Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEP4 ( not case sensitive ) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ).
  7. It will say "Enter Network MEP Code, then you type in the unlock code, press in the trackball to confirm.
  8. Your phone is now unlocked.

 

Canada Bell Blackberry Bold 9700 ONLY

How to Enter Unlock Codes:
**You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps ( Can be active or inactive )**
**You will also need the 2 unlock codes that we sent you. (Mep and SP Codes)

1. Go to settings menu => and then Options
2. Select Advanced options => and then Sim card
3. Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
4. Type MEP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2 on your Blackberry keyboard (NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEP [ALT] 2)
5. You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". Type in the MEP Unlock Code received from us and press in the trackpad  to confirm
6. You will get a message CODE ACCEPTED and the phone will return to the "Personalization" screen
7. Type MEP [ALT BUTTON] 4 and you will be prompted to enter the Service Provider Code (SP Code)
8. Enter the SP Code sent to you by us and press the trackpad
9. Your phone is unlocked.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Blackberry Storm 9500, 9520:

1) Turn off the phone
2) Need a SIM card inserted into the phone (Example: Verizon, At&t, T-mobile)
3) Turn on the phone
4) Go to Settings (Button that has dots next to green call button), Click on Manage Connections, Select 'Turn All Connections Off'
5) Press End Call (Red button)
6) Go to Settings, then Options, then Advanced Options, then SIM Card 7) Hit the Settings Button (Button that has dots next to green call button) and select 'Show Keyboard'
8) Type in mepd (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
9) Type in mep2 or mepp2 and another screen will pop-up prompting for the MEP code (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
10) Enter the code, Remember you ONLY have 10 chances to get it right
11) Press enter and your phone is unlocked!



How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry Storm 9530, 9550:

1) Turn off the phone
2) Need a SIM card inserted into the phone (Example: Verizon, At&t, T-mobile)
3) Turn on the phone
4) Go to Settings (Button that has dots next to green call button), Click on Manage Connections, Select 'Turn All Connections Off'
5) Press End Call (Red button)
6) Inside Settings menu, Click Options, then Mobile Network, on the switch technology to 'Global' if that has not been done.
Exception: If phone prompts 'Would you like your Blackberry to automatically select CDMA or GSM based on network availability', select No.
7) Now click the Back Arrow Button (Next to the Red End Call button) and select Advanced Options and then SIM Card
8) Hit the Settings Button (Button that has dots next to green call button) and select 'Show Keyboard'
9) Type in mep2 or mepp2 and another screen will pop-up prompting for the MEP code (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
Exception: If nothing is prompting up and you are making sure you are selecting each button by press the screen in, do a wipe handheld to reset the phone to manufacturer default: http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=110075
10) Enter the code, Remember you ONLY have 10 chances to get it right
Exception: If phone says Code Error and the attempts stay the same, start off with 10 attempts and still says 10 attempts after enter code, then continue with instructions, this is a glitch on the phone
11) Press the Enter key (Button that looks like a backwards L arrow)
12) A message will appear saying Code Accepted
13) Turn device off by removing battery, insert SIM of your choice if have not done so already. Turning device is necessary even if you have SIM of choice inserted.
14) Turn the phone back on
15) Go to Settings, then Options, then Mobile Network, on the third row switch Network Technology to GSM/UMTS.
16) Press the Back Arrow Button to exit and save settings.
17) Return to the main screen by pressing End Call and you should see your phone getting signal
18) As a reminder, if you ever remove the SIM card from your phone, you will need to set the Network Technology as GSM/UMTS again

Issues:
1) If you have issues with the phone not recognizing the network, make sure the radio is on by making sure it is not low on power.
2) If you follow the above instructions and code is accepted with the Network Technology set to GSM/UMTS and still not working, it may be the SIM needs to be replaced with a newer SIM Card.

Removing "Activation Required" on the screen or changing the Phone Number:
1) On the main screen of the phone, press Call (Green Button)
2) Type on the screen: ##000000
3) Press the Call Button
4) For the Mobile Directory Number, put in your phone number in there
5) After you have done that, press the Menu Button to Save the options and the phone will automatically restart
6) After restarting, it will be updated

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry Tour 9630:

1) Turn off the phone
2) Need a SIM card inserted into the phone (Example: Verizon, At&t, T-mobile)
3) Turn on the phone
4) Go to Settings
5) Go to Options
6) Go to Advanced Options
7) Go to Sim Card
8) HOLD ALT and press: mep2 (Please note that you will NOT see what you type on the screen)
9) Enter the code, Remember you ONLY have 10 chances to get it right
10) Enter it and then press trackball to confirm and your phone is unlocked!

How to Enter MSL Code on Sprint BlackBerry Tour (9630):

1) From the mainscreen of the BlackBerry, press the green call button to enter the phone
2) Type in ##MSLCODE then the green talk button (ie: ##123456 Green talk button)
3) In the CDMA service edit screen, delete the number in the first row (000000xxxx) and replace it with your current phone number
4) Press the menu key and choose save
5) The device will re-boot

Power on without sim, type in #7465625*638*Unlock code#.

 

Model: Samsung Behold 2 T939 :

1) Insert a NON T-Mobile SIM & turn Device on

2) The Device will automatically prompt you to enter code into an empty field.

3) Tap in the empty field above the "Unlock & Dismiss" options (this will display a key pad on the screen).

4) Using the key pad input the Unlock Code.

5) Press the Back button to remove the keyboard from screen.

6) Tap the "Unlock" option; handset should display "Network Unlock Successful".

  4. Your phone is now unlocked.

1. Insert an unaccepted SIM card
2. Enter the pin code to simcard
3. At the top of screen an "exclamation mark" icon will appear

7. There will appear link "settings" - click on it
8. Virtual keyboard appears on screen with Enter PIN prompt.
9. Enter your 8-digit unlock code.
Model : Samsung i900 Omnia

1. Insert a sim card from a different network.
2. Power ON handset (Make sure wirelesss mode is ON)
3. When asked for code, enter Unlock Code
4. Now phone should be unlocked
5. If Unlock Code not working, then contact us.

Model : Samsung J600

Unlock code is composed like this: #0149*MCK# or #0111*NCK#

1. Press the # button on the keypad 1 time to display #
2. Type the 4 digit code which corresponds to your lock type (in most cases the MCK code will work with code:1)
3. Press the star (*) button on the keypad 1 time
4. Type your unlock code which corresponds to your lock type

PHONE FREEZE:

If your phone displays this message or similar when inserting an incorrct sim, you must do the following:
1. Power on phone with wrong sim inside so phone displays "Phone Freeze, SIM unavailable. Please contact service provider"
2. Now type Unfreeze Code(if you bought 1 from us) and press OK (no digits will be seen on display when entering this code)
3. Now phone will ask you for Network Code, so enter Unlock Code and press OK.
4. If nothing happens when you enter the Unlock Code, you will need to compose code like this: #7465625*638*CODE2#
5. Now your phone should be unlocked.

N.B. If phone does not accept Unlock Code, and still have no luck with #7465625*638*UNLOCK CODE# please contact us immediately.

 


Unlock Instruction for FIDO Samsung i616 Jack


1. Power ON your phone with a FIDO SIM Card that the phone is locked to
2. Type #7465625*638*
3. Network Lock Screen appear, enter UNLOCK CODE
3.  Device is now unlocked

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Samsung (all other models):

  1. Switch ON your phone with a not accepted SIM card
  2. Phone will ask for the "Password"
  3. You can now enter the unlock code

OR

 

  1. Switch ON your phone without a SIM card (if this doesn't work try with a non-accepted sim card first and if necessary an accepted sim card)
  2. Compose : #0111*UNLOCK CODE#  (by "unlock code" we meant the unlock code we gave you)
To solve "Phone Freeze" or "Return for service problem" or "Phone Locked problem"

Insert other operator Sim Card.
Enter "unfreeze" Code(it will not be visible) and accept with OK key

 


 

 

 

How to Enter Unlock Codes on All PalmOne / Treo Phones:

 

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Treo 650, 680, Centro:

1) Remove Treo battery, unplug cable
2) Insert incorrect a not allowed SIM card (one the phone does not accept)
3) Power on your Treo, 'Sim not allowed' is displayed, click OK
4) Go to the dial pad, and use the stylus to enter code *#*#CODE#. Then press 'Dial'. (substitute the word "code" with the unlock code we gave you).
5) Phone will reset and display 'sim lock removed'


Ensure you enter the codes in this manner *#*#CODE# (e.g. *#*#12345678#)

Troubleshooting
Error Message: "The SIM Lock has NOT been removed from this phone"
Solution 1: Please make sure you are entering the correct code and enter it using this method *#*#CODE# dial
Solution 2: If the phone says that the SIM lock has not been removed, ensure that the phone radio (wireless mode) is on.

If still having the error message "The SIM Lock has NOT been removed from this phone," the phone is likely refurbished and cannot unlock by code. Refurbished phones from the manufacturer are reflashed and take on a new IMEI. Because of this, the only way to unlock the phones is by software unlocking the phone.

 
 
 
How to Enter Unlock Codes on Treo 750:

1) Power on with incorrect sim, enter unlock code when prompted
2) Enter code using ON-SCREEN (NOT physical keys) keyboard when unlocking a Pocket PC Phones

If above doesn't work

How to Enter Unlock Codes on All LG Phones:

Model : LG Incite CT-810

- Insert a SIM from the original network
- 2945#*810# will show the unlock menu
- Enter unlock code

Model : LG Sentio GS505

1. Insert Non T-Mobile SIM card in to the device. Once the device is powered on the screen should display "Invalid SIM card Network lock."
2. At the bottom of the screen tap the Unlock box.
3. Select/Tap Unlock USIM.
4. Next select/tap network lock. A SIM unlock process message will appear on the display.
5. Select/tap OK.
6. Enter the unlock code.
7. Select/tap OK.
8. Reenter the unlock code.
9. Select/tap OK.
10. Message should display "Unlock Process Complete."
11.Select/tap OK.
12. The phone will restart.

 

Model : LG GS170

3. Display will appear unlock USIM
4. Click ok
5. Network lock will appear
6. Click ok
7. Phone will display "You are about to SIM unlock your phone continue?"
8. Click yes
9. Enter unlock code
10. Click ok
11. Re-Enter unlock code
12. Click ok
13. Handset will display "Unlock process complete your phone is unlocked."
14. Click ok
15. Phone will restart

Model : LG Prada, KE850 :

1. Switch the telephone on with Original SIM card inside.
2. Enter SIM pin if required.
3. Enter 2945#*8501# and press the call button (middle button bottom of the screen).
4. SIM unlock mode will appear on screen.

6. Select Reboot.
7. Switch phone off, and then turn back on again. Phone is now unlocked

1. Insert the network SIM in the handset which has given u the LG U400.
2. Enter 2945#*88110#.
3. The phone will then prompt 'Unlock sim'. Press OK.

Enter the 8 digit unlocking code. Press OK. If the unlocking code comes with only 7 digits, add a 0 in front of the 7 digit code. If the unlocking code comes with only 6 digits, add 00 in front of the 6 digit code.

1. Insert a SIM card from a different network provider and turn on the Sidekick. A dialog screen comes up, prompting you for the code.

2. The box will say:

Title: Special Code Required

Dialog: Enter code to enable SIM

Box for Code: 1-8 digits

Options: Enable or Cancel


3. In the upper right hand corner, the SIM is flashing where the signal strength should be. On entering the code, a dialog box comes up saying authenticating code. It’s unlocked. Enjoy.

In case you see the “Waiting for Activation Screen”, hit the menu key and the letter L key at the same time. The menu key is the top left key. By doing this, the waiting screen will go away and you will be able to make calls.
